Configuration & Tuning
PostgreSQL ships with defaults sized for a laptop from 2005. This hub collects
everything on configuring it for real hardware: postgresql.conf settings for
memory, WAL, and parallelism; pg_hba.conf and connection management, so you
know who can reach the database and how many of them can at once; and the
production-grade defaults people fear to touch until something breaks.
